The Freedom Monument of Uzbekistan is a monument project specially designed and implemented for the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan. The monument was named Stella, which means "star" in Italian and Uzbek.
The phoenix, symbolizing happiness and freedom, represents the logo of Uzbekistan. Adjacent to the phoenix monument are symbols of cotton and wheat, representing the country's most important agricultural products.
